The ICCA Congress 2024 will implement a high-performance sustainable event management system, to ensure compliance with international sustainability standards. This initiative addresses the need for reducing the environmental footprint of large events — particularly in regions like the UAE, where sustainability practices are still evolving. Our specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) focus on 3 key areas: Waste Management, Journey to Zero Emissions, Attendee Engagement.
2. Social Legacy
The ICCA Congress 2024 creates partnerships among local stakeholders, accelerating sustainable actions and impact. By engaging local communities, universities, and varied stakeholders, the Congress aims to build a stronger, more resilient business-event ecosystem.
3. Education & Professional Development
The ICCA Congress 2024 aims to build its participants’ capacity through every endeavour. Through its many initiatives, the Congress will provide industry-specific training, enhance professional competencies, and prepare delegates and local suppliers to elevate how they deliver events that set new international standards.
