Saturday City Tour: Panama Canal & City Discovery

Discover Panama City on a tour rich in history and culture. Our adventure begins at the Panama Canal, where you’ll witness the impressive Miraflores Locks and see massive ships navigate this engineering marvel while learning about its remarkable construction.

Next, we visit the IMAX, where Morgan Freeman’s voice guides you through a captivating documentary about the history of the Panamanian isthmus and the creation of the canal. The giant screen and included popcorn and soda complete the immersive experience.

We finish by exploring Casco Antiguo, Panama’s historic second city. Walk its cobbled streets, admire colonial architecture and colorful facades, and soak in the charm of its lively squares while discovering the stories behind this historic gem.

Emberá Indian Village Experience

Free tour. Limited capacity. First-come, first-served.

Step aboard your motor coach and journey to the ancestral home of the Emberá Tribe, preserved for over 600 years. As you travel into Panama’s central jungles, your guide will share insights into the country’s history and the Emberá people, guardians of the rainforest and the Chagres River.


At Chagres National Park, switch to a traditional dugout canoe and travel upriver through wildlife-rich waterways until the Emberá village emerges from the forest. You’ll be welcomed by the village Chief and enjoy traditional dances prepared for this cultural exchange.


You’ll also have time to explore, ask questions, and interact respectfully with the community. The Emberá are talented artisans, offering handcrafted items for purchase as meaningful souvenirs of this unique visit.
