Young professionals forum

The annual ICCA Young Professionals Forum is relocating to the enchanting city of Abu Dhabi on the 19th of October 2024! 

The Forum brings together young industry professionals from a diverse array of backgrounds. At ICCA, we firmly believe that great ideas flourish when diverse minds collaborate and we are inviting individuals of ALL age groups to participate. This is an exceptional opportunity for the selected applicants to gain insights and directly engage with the visionary ideas of the next generation of industry leaders. 

We are continuing to offer not only a voice to the future generation in our business events sector, but also a seat at the table and the opportunity to lead us. 


The theme of this year's forum will focus on the increasing demand of better and stronger DEI best practices and the necessity to understand and accept AI as an undeniable fact in our sector’s future development. 

By defining and building together actionable solutions, we will crowdsource the collective brainpower and ideas of all participants at the event. 

In a full-day and engaging live experience we will explore together, discuss and build the future of our industry. Come and join us! 

The event will take place at the Khalifa Innovation Center of the Khalifa University and is set to be a cutting-edge experience.

Who should attend? 

This event is open to ICCA members and association executives of any age, though priority will be given to Young Professionals (35 years old or under). 

The forum will be attended by representatives from across the different sectors, including venues, destination marketing, meeting support, association clients and students. As all these groups are stakeholders of business events and play an important role in creating and shaping the future industry. The aim if to combine all different view points during the forum, and coming up with an aligned and multi stakeholder approach to action.

Note that attendees will however be responsible for covering the costs association with additional accommodation as well as any costs incurred due to flight and travel changes for their attendance.

Transfers for the Young Professionals Forum

Buses will be provided from/to all hotels listed on the ICCA Congress website to ADNEC, and from/to ADNEC to Khalifa University. Please find below the detailed plan:  

  • Saturday 19th from all listed hotels to ADNEC at 07:30 AM
  • Saturday 19th from ADNEC to Khalifa University at 08:00 AM

  • Saturday 19th from ADNEC to Khalifa University at 17:00 PM
  • Saturday 19th from Khalifa University to all listed hotels at 17:30 PM


Networking Dinner at Tazal restaurant for the Young Professionals Forum

We would like to embrace the rich heritage and Arabic culture and the Tazal restaurant is our dinner venue to best achieve that.  Let's all meet after the main programme for dinner to blend the traditional with the modern, creating a unique atmosphere and get to know each other better.

  • Transfers are not included for the social programme
